The campaign proposal for the launch of New Balance’s new skateboard shoe line, under the slogan “LET ME GIVE YOU MY ‘NUMERIC’”, focused on highlighting the “Numeric” range, directly associated with the values of durability and performance in skateboarding. The visual concept of the campaign revolved around typography and layout, which were the true protagonists of each visual piece.
The layout, with its typographic arrangement, aims to simulate the abstract representation of streets on a map, the place where this sport is practiced. Each shoe model was represented uniquely, with its
identification number, color palette, and the professional skater sponsored by the brand, creating a visual and emotional connection between the product and the values it represents.
To complete the campaign, a wide variety of visual applications were developed, ranging from posters and outdoor advertising to digital media, covering the full launch of the campaign across all platforms. Each piece was designed to reinforce the brand’s identity and emphasize the connection between skate culture and the lifestyle that New Balance seeks to promote through its “Numeric” range.
